I don't think skinny jeans can only be worn at a certain age. Any kind of jeans should be worn based on what looks good on your body shape. I am 47 years old and look great in my skinny jeans....with the right top, of course. I wear them mostly with boots and a longer top or sweater. I get compliments all the time. If I was shorter or heavier, I would possibly not be able to wear them....it would depend on what the mirror says. But, for my shape now, they work great. I also like to wear boot cut with my shorter tops and different shoes. All depends on what your wear with them.

I don't get the big deal. QVC viewers are very conservative usually. Middle age and baby boomers. The demographics show that. It's no wonder QVC doesn't even offer skinny jeans. Oh sometimes they show "slim pants". Most of the viewers cling to their boot cut pants. Some like the "mommy jean verison" with the high waist elastic. Demim & Company happily supply those. They will show leggings, but they also show boot cut leggings. I was surprised the time I saw that. I didn't even know they made them. HSN has younger viewers. They actually show and call them skinny jeans. Though Diane Gilman's versions are sometimes unfortunate. On the hand, their other skinnys are fashionable. I've been wearing skinny jeans since they first appeared in London in 2002. Like the boot cut they aren't going anywhere. They just come back year after year. The true boot cut pant, because they actually show your boots.

Probably less then half the posters like or wear skinnys, but some do. So it's your attitude and look and feel about your body. Not so much the age. If you like them, wear them. Don't let anyone tell you what to wear.
