I was born with a club foot so I have had to wear flats all my life - there are many places to buy dressy flat shoes - shoes do not have to have a high heel to look dressy - I wear flats with dresses all the time.

Yes, I took the poll. My vote is for a dress. Unless the dress is very casual like a sundress, IMO dresses are usually dressier than pants. I have several dresses to choose from when I dress up for church each Sunday and for other events. I am 50+ and my legs still look good. I wear tights with my dresses when it is cold, and I go bare legged in the summer. I still wear nude hose once in awhile with a dress too.

Pants. Always and everywhere. I dress 'em up; I dress 'em down. They take me everywhere I go. I haven't worn a dress since my daughter's wedding over five years ago -- and I wish I'd worn pants to that.

I don't like to dress up EVER. It seems to be a family trait that we look sloppy an hour after we've tried to spiff up.

Because I'm in casual clothes most of the time, I like to be able to wear dresses when I get a chance! (Or a skirt). Love having an occasion to be able to dress up!
