Can anyone tell me if Isaac Mizrahi shoes run true to size?

I tried on a couple of pairs of his shoes at Winners, the 8M slip on canvas shoe slipped on the heel and wasn't comfortable. The 8W wedge sandal was too wide from side to side and too long like an 8.5 or a 9. The quality was average, nothing special.

I believe that his shoes run about 1/2 size smaller than other shoes in the wide size. I don't know what I would have on my feet if it wasn't Isaac's shoes. I have just about every color he makes. Just wish he made a black shoe a little more like a dress shoe,not quit so casual. I love every thing he makes. I am 83 and love looking good.

I wear a 9 1/2 M and all my Isaac shoes and boots fit perfectly.

I tried on Mizrahi shoes at Target a couple of years ago, and they ran 1/2 size small. However, all those I've bought from his range on QVC have been true to size.
