"Twist & Shout" sweater

The sweater discussion today reminded me ....

 

Got an email the other day from a place in CA that sells really nice yarn kits and yarn ... I'm always on the lookout for something new to make.   (Store is a bit exclusive .... you have to make am appt to shop at there!)

 

This is the Twist & Shout Sweater ... and it turns out that I have a pattern for the same sweater .... with sleeves .... that I bought a couple of years ago but haven't made it yet.  I

 

I dug out the old pattern and this is now in my queue "to be made"  Still deciding about the sleeves.  I'm debating with myself about the yarn.   I have some really pretty variegated silk yarn ... but not sure it's enough for this project.

@ALRATIBA   That's really cute.  I'd make it sleeveless and wear it over a turtleneck as sort of a vest (I know you have all of those turtlenecks).  Made with a varigated yarn, you could wear it over many colors.
