I discovered the hard way that they're perfect for the beach! LOL I picked up a pair for like $12 at Walmart on a wim. They're a chambray and white vertical striped very beachy looking put them on their great when you're standing up as soon as you sit down they separate and you're wearing a miniskirt! LOL

They are extremely comfortable but a definite no for anything other than going to the beach or the pool

And did I mention that my pant legs keep getting caught under my office chair wheel?! RFLOL

It's a minor miracle that I didn't end up doing the no-pants dance!

A big NAY from me.... just not very attractive.

Around here, now that the weather has warmed up, I've seen a number of young women (20-somethings - they may be grad students) wearing various versions of the pants.  I can't imagine where they are going, but they travel in packs!

There's another version with horizontal splits ... laddered down the leg front and back.  Not the torn denim version.  The side seams are all that's holding the pants together.  Bizarre looking!
