I watched this video.  Hmmm, I feel I am open-minded and possess some creative/artistic talents.  However...I just can't embrace some of these very exaggerated creations seriously.  Many of them look like something I could do.  I guess to me the real talent belongs to those who take their inspirations and design what you and I would actually wear.

I really don't follow runway fashion very closely, because it is so out there. I am usually more interested in knowing what the upcoming trends are (not that I'm "trendy," but I do like to be updated), then waiting to see how they're interpreted by my favorite stores/lines.

Check: Lingerie (Calvin Klein dress)
Check: Shirtdress (Drivers License outfit)
Check: Shoulders (to capture Christian's attention)
Check: Straps, ribbons & strings (even Amber copied her look)
Check: Clunky shoes (even Monica on 'Friends' wore pilgrim shoes)
Check: Backpack (different one for each outfit)

The only look I like is designer denim. The clothing in post #13 is a LOL! Nothing attractive about it.
