Ammmmmmm - Amy, she sure looks pretty good in them and then there is Sharon, she also looks very good in them and neither one of them is tall. I have always found the quality to be very good. As far as this style goes it seems to have been around for some time now. I also notice that Soft Surroundings and a few others are now carrying a lot of the "Logo" style clothing so I don't really think it's a fad just another style of clothing that some people love and others don't , like every other style of clothing - maybe that's why there are so many different styles.
@Silver Fox1@arizona babe,Hello ladies. This is not Lori's style. This is another division of fashion style like athletic wear, sports wear, and so on. This is known as "Alternative" style. The upscale, in more substancial fabric being Eileen Fisher, who has exceptional quality fabrics like organic cottion and knits with weight; I C Collection (beautiful poly creations), and Bryn Walker (linen creations), (both at but not exclusive to Dillards); Flax, known for beautiful linen, and Tulip to name a few.
What Lori did was take the idea of this style and use a knit that does not have the weight of the brands I mentioned.
Some problems have occurred with Lori's fabrics after laundering as have been mentioned on this board by several other posters.
Hi @ECBG sorry but the Eileen Fisher style of clothing is not known as an "Alternative" style but rather as a "Minimalist" style and really is nothing at all like the "Logo" style. Lori's line of clothing is also not an "Alternative" style of clothing but rather an "apparel concept" and it's all her own. Actually she won the "Apparel Product Concept of the Year" award for it in 2014. As far as the laundering of her fabrics go I can't say that I have ever had a problem with them, but maybe I've just been lucky.
@Silver Fox1I have an extensive background in education, some of which includes design, textiles, tailoring, art and chemistry. In college I designed and sold clothes.
Minimalism is a substyle under Alternative. I only know what laundry problems other posters discuss on the boards. I don't order this brand.
@ECBGI'm sure you have a wonderful education however, you are not the only person on this board that has a background in fashion, I spent years (14) in the fashion industry in New York. Minimalism is not a substyle under Alternative. Maybe when it was first developed you could say it was, as it was an alternative to the more fussy style of clothing of the time, however for years now Minimalism is in itseft a distink style, it is a practical, simplified less restrictive style of clothing and I have never heard it referred to anything other than "Minimalist", ie: less is more. On the other hand "Alternative" is now another distink style of clothing that is referred to as "out of the norm" it could be kooky, it you would, it can be oversized or skin tight, I could go on and on, it's also usually uni-sex but doesn't have to be. In the fashion world they are not the same and have nothing to do with one another.
Hence proving any post can indeed be disputed. ![]()

I spend almost $3 a day on an iced tea from Panera. It's absurd how much their tea has increased. With tax, it's $2.90 now here in IN.

Exactly!
And one person's idea of 'appropriate' fashion styles, fabrics etc does not apply to all, regardless of background.
It's such a turnoff when the 'advice' is stated in a condescending manner that insults another's personal choice.

@ECBG Thank you. Finally an expert stylist gives the honest truth about LOGO that can't be disputed anyone. We're so grateful @ECBG!!! đź’•

@Ms tyrion2,Thank you. I will not argue and I know what I know.
Funny, isn't it that everyone that "joined the party" has no research!![]()

I am not doubting nor denying anyone person's credentials, but I do know the clothing that Lori "designs," are not new. That is called Lagenlook and it has been around for years and years in Europe, particularly Germany.
Eileen Fisher did have a great line at one time and now that it is being made in China, I have a couple of her items which, to me, are just as poor quality as Walmart. I bought a "silk/linen" blend top and after the first wearing it was ragged-out looking and all fuzzed up for no reason. I wore it to church and can't blame seatbelt because it was under a jacket. Her quality just 'aint' what it usta be.'
I see similar, but much prettier items at Dillards by M made in Italy (which are much better quality, even some are part silk) and at Von Maur by Radzoli for a few dollars more and you get a complete deal with tank and the fabric holds up. I don't wear it but my tall daughter does.

If you like her things you have to shop carefully for them. The various QVC sale options are a good way to pick up LOGO at a less inflated price.

some of her clothing i like but i do see some pilling and for that price? the sweater today is almost $100! Really? Cant justify those prices....
