Re: new colors for all

@QueenDanceALot

I picked up an InStyle in line the other day and was shocked at how thin it is now!

Years ago I would buy it regularly and it was big and thick and full of awesome pictures!

As for pink; I'm digging it in my old age and I have pink pants!

@QueenDanceALot  oh no, my pink pants are long gone.  I probably looked good in them years ago, but today, me in pink pants would be visual pollution.... I'd scare people.

RI have owned one pair of pink pants in my lifetime.  I made the mistake of wearing them to NYC on a trip I made alone.

It seemed that every male that saw me yelled " Hey, pink pants". I was there on business, but I was not in the business they mistook me to be in.

That was many years ago, and from then on I say NO to pink pants.

added: I just remembered what happened to those pink pants.  My DH taught forensic science to police officers for homicide cases.  He and his team buried a deer that was killed on the highway and needed clothing to dress it in.  I gave my DH those pants and the matching shirt to dress the deer for burial.  A year later the deer was dug up for study.  I know...TMI and gross.

Yes, they were studying homicide and evidence gathering. They buried a deer with clothing ( can't bury a human for study around here, though you can leave your body for study for this very purpose... look up body farms)

The students had to look for the deer's body with the clues they were given and dig it up, determine how long it was buried, etc.

I thought they used pigs for those types of studies? More similarities to human anatomy...

I love all bright colors, but I do tend to go in spurts on what I'm currently "into."  Lately, it's been all about pink for me (clothes, jewelry).  I love red too, and enjoy seeing pink and red together in my jewelry, although I wouldn't go so far as to wear that combo in my clothing.  I would, however, wear a pink top or jacket with burgundy pants!

You're right.  Medical personal do use pigs.

Police officers, FBI, tend to use animals that have already died as opposed to killing animals for study. They are only studying them for evidence gathering purposes, they do not autopsy them.

Actually I have been looking for pink pants.  I don't mean hot pink or bright pink,  - I have those.  I'm looking for a soft pink in a summer weight and also i 3 season weight - ponte knit would be good.  I ordered a pair of ponte knit pink pants from one of my catalogs, but they were a disappointment - very thin (not what I call ponte) and an odd color.  Back they went, so I'm still looking.  I haven't seen them in any of our stores, nor on QVC.
