I'm not sure where my husband has purchased his shirts--probably a small men's shop. (Like me, he's not a mall shopper.)

The recommendation for Untuckit (if you don't mind ordering online) might be a great resource. I like the close fit of their shirts. And I agree with Andrea, a Henley is sexy!

Yes; I adore henleys for men! However the long sleeves will not work in our hot summers. I did find some nice tees and henley short sleeve shirts at a local J Crew outlet; also some classic polos at Brooks Brothers and other tees at an Izod outlet. Much appreciate all of your help/suggestions! We had a little try-on session and he was very pleased!

@kirbysgirl , in my opinion, most older men look better with a collar on their shirt.  Their neck ages just like a woman and the collar helps 'hide' the neck a bit.
