measuring bra size

What is the correct way to measure for bra size? I've read different ways. Some say to measure under the bust and add inches if its even or odd, and then measure the fullest part of the bust and subtract the difference for the cup size. Others say not to add any inches after measuring under the bust. Any help would be great!
