clean shirt, new shoes, and I don't know where I'm going to....

But I digress

How do you feel about the shirts extending beyond the hem of a jacket, sweater, etc.?

Call me a traditionalist but I don't like it..maybe because I'm fond of structure and the mismatched layers is the antithesis of it....

Re: long shirt, short jacket

I like it.

I don't wear my shirts tucked in.  Most of my tops are longer than my jackets.  It works for me...

I like the look, but I don't like a drastic difference. I prefer no more than about 2 or 3 inches of shirt below the jacket.

It has grown on me, now that I've seen it so often.  I like it now.

Andreatoo, I don't like it either because it can look unflattering, especially if it's too long. so when i'm going for that layered look, I wear a shirt underneath that's only a couple of inches longer than my sweater or jacket.

courtney had that look on at midnight. with some of the sweaters she wore, it looked ok. I'd have preferred shorter though.

Re: long shirt, short jacket

I'm finding I don't like a lot of the new looks. I don't know if it my age (61) or what. I don't think they are flattering on healthier ladies. You have to be on the thin side. If you realize that tv adds 10 lbs on, just think how small the models are.

Nope; not according to Mr. H by Halston (Cameron Silver)

He touched on it a few times last night

Re: long shirt, short jacket

I don't care for my tops to be a lot longer than my jackets but  I will let a little bit of my top show!  I think it is kind of cute especially if it is a bright color showing such as a red T showing a little below a black or brown jacket with a pair of jeans!  Thats just me!!Woman Wink
