She has 1 child Arabella. She’s probably about 6 or 7. Stacey was at the Q about 2 years and left very abruptly. A bit shocking. She was an excellent host.

Her daughter is 9.  Not a baby.  No reason to quit your job.

@alohakz   If you'll put Stacy's name in the "Search Forums and Blogs" space, you'll find several recent threads on the question you asked.

@San Antonio Gal.. I totally agree w/ u. The daughter is in school. She’s not a baby. I knew she was in the 7,8,9 age range.

Maybe, just maybe, Stacey wanted to spend her evenings with her family instead of working as a salesperson on QVC! Wouldn't most women prefer to be home each evening with their spouse and child(ren)? Two years of those lousy hours would get old very fast and cause friction in a family. She was missing out of school activities, functions, homework, and regular family time . . . not to mention time with her husband.

Also, I doubt her resignation was quick. Imagine Stacey gave her resignation several weeks ago. The probably prompted QVC to stop posting the names of which hosts were working which shows. Stacey was able to publicly announce her resignation on her last day.

It's painful to read all of the negative speculation. If you can't say something kind about Stacey's departure (and her reason for leaving), please don't post anything. She would have given you that respect and dignity!

I agree. They have to be upbeat and pleasant all the time, not easy!

She left last week and no one here knows why.  She was very good at the job.  She communicate well and she's gorgeous.  I doubt that she was let go.  Shopping channel host is not an easy job and my guess is it just didn't suit her.  She didn't like the job.  Maybr the gawd awful schedule didn't work for her family life so she quit.

I agree the job can be brutal but I guess many people question the timing because shortly before her departure she was on a segment with Shaun whereby they played a game “introducing “ her to the audience. Why would you agree to that if you were going to leave? She seemed like a lovely person, I wish her the best.
