I think that Stacy gave it her absolute all, but realized that this career wasn't the right fit for her. Sure, the hosts sometimes get to sell beautiful diamond jewelry or eat delicious food on air, but they also have to sell a garden hose or a boring paper shredder for an hour or more. It must be tiring for hosts to work unpredictable hours and sometimes talk about products that maybe they don't like or wouldn't use- to really sound excited when maybe they're having a bad day or are bored and tired. I wish Stacy the best- she's a gorgeous, fun lady!

as a host, she was mediocre... i personally did not like her presentation style.
as a person - seemed very likable and gorgeous!!
so tall! everything looked wonderful on her. !!
i agree, its a tough job and sometimes she would talk about a top for 12 minutes, ugh, awful!! felt bad for her....
i wish her the best!!! and yes she should model, the camera would love her

@chrystaltree The best host QVC has had, the most articulate and beautiful, since Lisa Robertson. She and Lisa, in a class all their own. I am sure Stacy will land somewhere that will appreciate her articulate speech and great presentations. She was the best. Another one I fear will be gone soon, whose name I will not mention, because she is very attractive and a good presenter. I think sometimes the other hosts just don't like one another and those oldies but goodies can make or break a career at QVC.

Stacy has signed on to be on The Real Housewives of Potomac this next season, which starts sometime late Fall, possibly November...

@CANDLEQUEEN as someone who watches that trainwreck, RHOP, I am stunned Stacy is joining. I did not know she lived in the DC area, and those ladies are far from classy. I hope she does not end up putting her kid(s) on the show. (I admit I am not sure if she has more than one so I apologize in advance if this is not accurate). I hope she knows how to argue and and realize how low they go on these fabricated and over produced reality housewives shows. Would have rather seen her continue on Q, but to each their own.

I live in Virginia, before Stacy started working for QVC she worked at our local ABC News affiliate WJLA as the traffic person on the morning news.

Stacy has made a thoughtful and wise choice with Housewives. She and Steve easily sailed through the training classes (Nancy was far behind them), pursued and made her nitch in hosting programs she preferred, knew the product, kept a lovely happy and upbeat attitude, was friendly and knowledgeable, and got along with other employees easily for two years. She was an outstanding host, but the hours were not conducive to her needs as a family-oriented woman. Things change in life and priorities need to be re-evaluated.
Stacy's decision to leave QVC was not a huge surprise. She was overeducated and bored with QVC. She wanted to spend more time at home with her daughter. As a member of Housewives, she'll probably be working about 14 weeks a year vs. 50-52 weeks and making far more money! She'll travel and have many more benefits. Stacy is an intelligent woman with savvy. She's had an interesting life and will be able to share her recent life experiences on the show (for drama and understanding of other's decisions). She's a survivor. She'll be fine on Housewives and in her future endeavors.
I believe this is just another stepping stone for Stacy. Stay tuned as she moves on and upward in the future.
