@muffininmilton Best wishes to you on your upcoming wedding!

@Moonlady Can you tell me where that first gown is from--manufacturer name and website?  No need to supply any link.

I have a formal event coming up in May and that is EXACTLY the style dress I've been searching for, and hadn't found.

Thanks very much for your help!

@muffininmilton This gown is by Tadashi Shoji.  $698 at Nordstrom. Since your wedding is in July, this will keep you cool.  Congrats!

I like that one, too. I don't know who the manufacturer is, but the website is "jjshouse." When you access that, click on "Mother of the Bride" gowns, though none of those models look like anyone's mother lol.

Scroll down to the 18th (or so) row (do NOT stop to check out any of the other dresses lolol); it'll be on the RIGHT. You can then see about 6 pics from different angles. There's also a video, which gives a nice closeup.

@Moonlady Oh, thanks a bunch.  Very much appreciate your prompt help and such explicit directions.

Edited to update:  @Moonlady Visited the site and found the dress.  Problem is the firm is based in China and has bad Better Business bureau reviews.

Perhaps I can find a seamstress here in DC to make this for me.

But, again, appreciate your assistance so much.

@muffininmilton  Lord and Taylor has some evening gowns.  I was unable to copy a light pink gown for $199 and 20% off that price.  Check out their gowns.

Oh, no! Who needs that grief!

But your idea is a good one--Seamstresses are very talented. Good luck!

@NicksmomESQ

This is actually from the designer that our bride to be is looking at for her dress!

Geesh! My husband just threw a little fit over the pants outfit I said I would wear! LOL "A bride shouldn't be wearing pants!" So I told him I'd wear it for my next wedding
