Ugh. Now that the house is looking like it came out of Country Living, my husband has nothing to do but write music, play his guitar, shoot photos, & take cozy little afternoon naps. Too funny! Isn't it interesting that once you 'stage' your home for sale, it looks so good you think about staying! I always loved WNY summers. That wonderful breeze from Lake Erie always moderated the temps, never too hot. It's good to know that Buffalo may be 'coming back' but it makes your job a bit tougher. I don't have any suggestions for DH however, as I'm the newly retired one taking afternoon naps in between bouts of 20 minute gardening.

Erma was the queen. I'm afraid I'm more in the mold of Ian Frazier's "The Cursing Mommy". But you guys have got me thinking about a blog. How about "Everything's Coming Up Crabgrass (Oh, Where Did I Leave My Martini Glass)" as a working title?
