@willomenia I'm not dissing Shawn. As I've said several times, I like her. But, yes, Shawn does this often, but she's not the only one.

We frequently see models in sizes too small, too. I don't know why this has not been addressed by the powers that be. We need realistic sizing examples.

I do remember Isaac Mizrahi telling Shawn that she needed a larger size in one of his presentations. Shawn ignored him. But, he was right on. I'm confessing, it did make me giggle.

@NYCLatinaMe

You are exactly right.  I did notice the only one that the coat fits is Ade.  I've noticed for a long time that most of the clothes are about one size too small on the models. (except the tall skinny ones)

And why do they give the height of the model for the size of a jacket. I'm 5'3" but I don't wear a small in anything on top I like to close my jackets in the winter.  They said model is 5'9" and is in a large. Ridiculous.

@missy mouse  - I'm 5'9 and I appreciate knowing the heights of the models.  I like to see how long the sleeves are and how it fits on someone my height.

Anytime Shawn puts on a jacket, it looks like it either won't close in the front or would be pulling on the sides if it did.  She must be too vain to go up to her correct size.

@Puppy Lips  - Last week, she was on with the Liverpool rep modeling the jeans.  The Liverpool rep had the same jeans on and said she was a size 6.  Shawn said she was a size 2.  The Liverpool rep was more slender than Shawn - and the same height.  Didn't make sense.

He knows full well that Shawn would deeply resent the suggestion that she go up a size.  Also whoever styled her, would resent I.  It's OUR job to buy the correctly size for our own bodies.  I have always wondered why, across all the shopping channels, the put models and hosts in costs/jackets/cardigans that are too small.  Often by more than one size.  There must be a reason.

@chrystaltree Vanity.  The hosts think they are actually a size or two smaller than they are.  Leah and Jane B. state their true sizes, no matter what it is at the time.  Some of the smaller hosts I believe state their true size.  It is those others in the middle who aspire to be thinner and squeeze into clothes that are too tight and do not flatter their figure.
