at the chapel St Mary Magdalene on the Queen's Sandringham estate. all seems low key this year - maybe due to Prince Philip's health scare (he apparently didn't join them, understandably). LATER EDIT - the Queen attended a 9 a.m. private service and then returned later for the usual service.

The room is pretty....the fur coat is not.

apparently the Queen went to church twice this a.m. in very chilly weather - at 9 for a private service with Sophie and some family in a cream dress and scarf,  and then again, dressed in Christmas red suit/hat , later for the usual service.

Love the bright red on the Queen....good choice (kudos to stylist), especially for Christmas!

Anne/Camilla - lovely in jewel tones.  Camilla should wear that blue more often as it brings out those blue eyes!
