I paid by check for my boots and haven't received them yet. I did not get an email. What did the email say?

I'm curious too!

Me three. I have a pair from several years ago, don't wear them that often, but I do need a warm boot this year!

Here is the email:

Dear QVC Shopper:

We're writing to you today regarding your order for Today's Special Value, A257932 Lamo Suede Water Resistant Boots. When preparing your order for delivery, we discovered packaging and product issues that fell below our high standards. We are currently evaluating the product and packaging to determine next steps. This evaluation will delay the shipment of your order.

We are working with our teams to establish a new delivery date for you. We will communicate to you in the next 10 days your new estimated delivery date. If you have cancelled your order, we're sorry we were not able to provide a better service experience. Our customers are first and we are dedicated to delivering only the best products and service to you. If you choose to cancel your order, you can go on-line to
qvc.com or you can call Customer Service at 800-367-9444.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to deliver your order to you as soon as possible.

Sincerely,

Lisa Norden, VP Customer Service & Experience

That is the email I received on Monday also. I did check this morning and viewed my order status. Still shows advanced order but now shows an EDD!! YES!!! Maybe every one should view their order and see if their is a change. Fingers Crossed

I never received an email but mine were shipped and then ordered returned. I was of course charged for the first easy pay and had to pay my bill today so I paid the payment on boots I might never receive. It makes me mad if they are going to ask for them to be returned then we should have been credited the minute they did that. Now if I never get the boots I am stuck with a credit. I have only ordered three items this entire year so who knows how long it will take me to find something else I want to use up what I just paid. Ugh!

Patty- I called last night to cancel my order . A) I NEVER received an email about the recall - I had to find out by calling CS on my own and B) I have no confidence in a product/line that has to recall an entire TSV shipment.

The CS rep was able to refund the first pymt directly back to my Credit Card....

I am betting they are having a lot of these orders canceled.

I returned two pairs of LAMO boots and ordered UGGS instead. There is simply no comparison in the quality and fit. I tried to love the knockoff brand, but it just didn't work!

They are probably happy that so many customers are canceling their orders - less of a loss for them, since they won't have to ship them the replacement boots for the same low price! So, those who cancel their orders are actually doing them a favor!

There's also no comparison in the price.

For just a knock around boot, I would think the LAMO would be fine.

Minnetonkas are a more affordable version of UGGS- top quality, with the real sheepskin just like UGGS. Even Costcos kirkland brand are a great alternative!

Faux fur interiors make my feet hot & sweaty- rather than warm & toasty!
