QVC loading up on the bell sleeve. A little goes a long way. Not for me.

Re: bell sleeves-make it stop

@ellaphant AGREE!!!! I was considering 2 tops this wkend, but the sleeves made me stop. Susan Graver had a cute long sleeved top, but then the bell sleeves! I can see them dragging across a plate of food. Kim Gravel, same thing. Kim's top had the shorter bell sleeves, but they were HUGE bells. I'm already a plus size, not a good look for me.

Especially in sweaters, I like to be able to push my sleeves up.  Can't do this with bell sleeves.

Tights pretending to be jeans, cold shoulder tops....peplum everything...camo everything....uneven hems of every sort......bell sleeves.....what trend is next up? I guess they (whoever "they" are) have to keep coming up with new ideas so the fashion conscious run out and spend to keep their wardrobes up to the minute.

I don't care for bell sleeves at all, thus I don't own any.  Part of the reason is I can't imagine how they will look after you have to put on a sweater or coat over them.  Just not a style for me.  Plenty of other choices, thankfully.

I like bell sleeves on other ladies - but I would never wear them for so many reasons.  Pretty and feminine, but definitely not practical.

I feel the same way.  However I bought two tops last year that had wrist length bells . that weren't too much of a nuisance and one this year.  That's it!  No more...it's a fad.

I agree with all of you.  I will not buy anything with bell sleeves nor will I buy cold should anything.  The sales must be good, though, because they keep showing them.  I also do not like the exaggerated high-lo hems, and the only thing camo that I have is a cap that I got from a donation to a dog rescue.  It is pink camo, so looks nice.

Another matter of individual choice and again I'll say it's a good thing we have options. What a boring world it would be if we all liked and wore the same things. I wore this top yesterday to church and dining out.

Re: bell sleeves-make it stop

I like bell sleeves, own several tops with them. Kinda cool. Different. Not crazy huge bells though (thinking Stevie Nicks here!).

I also own several tops with angled or hi/lol hemlines

A bit of variety - I have enough if each, now I just look for tops with straight sleeves and straight hemlines. Not unless of course - one just happens to really jump out at me .....well then, maybe one more won’t hurt,,,,, 😉
