Why when the Q has an entire channel of Beauty, do we have to have beauty stuff when fashions are on?

@decbabeI assume you don't like that beauty shows up when blouses are more to your taste, but I think it's done because buyers like me would head for my local drugstore before they'd bother with still another shopping channel. I buy so little of what I consider beauty that I don't even know if my cable lineup includes Q2 and I don't watch full beauty shows here at the Q.

I don't know but I can tell you that it turns me off of QVC fashion programs. When I want to see clothes and accessories and they go into beauty or hair, that's my que to check out Evine or watch something entertaining on tv. The beauty segments are always so long that you can't just mute the tv until it's over. I think they do it because beauty sells, they make a lot of money of beauty products and the thought process is that there are women watching who aren't interested in the clothes or accessories but they'll buy lipstick or a face cream.

I agree that beauty products should not be mixed in. It also is like mixing in cleaning products in the David show.

I think that if QVC calls it a "style" show - like "AM Style" or "Inspired Style", etc. - they can throw in skin care, makeup, shoes, purses, what-have-you.... anything that would we purchase to be used or worn to be "stylish." Just my opinion. Same goes for "closet" shows ("Carolyn's Closet" or "Kerstin's Closet") -- skin care will be found in their closet.
Like you, I don't like QVC mixing makeup and skin care into clothing shows.

Fashion is more than clothes. Fashion is a popular style, especially in clothing, footwear, lifestyle products, accessories, makeup, hairstyle and body.

I never liked it either. We've complained over and over. I'm sure customers see items they normally wouldn't have like the Emjoli when they're added to fashion. I never watch "gadget" or beauty hours unless it is Mally or Laura Geller.

I'm the same. Watching beauty product demonstrations doesn't interest me, although it has to be done so you can see how it works and how to use it, and what the colors of lipsticks, nail polishes, etc. looks like on different skin tones. I'm also guessing that because some viewers (such as myself) do not get Beauty IQ as part of their TV package they still need to show it on the main channel.

I just change the channel. Absolutely no interest in QVC beauty products.
I guess not everyone gets their beauty channel ...

We don't get the beauty channel on our cable.I wouldn't watch it anyway.
