Re: Your opinions on Q's new Spring fashions this weekend?

Chrystaltree, sorry, I meant to say FLORAL wide leg pants. I see a lot of solids at stores, but not the bright colorful florals that the Q is presenting

Agreed @Mombo1    I'm 5'4" so I know what you mean about some really wide legs in pants.

The very original beach pants by Denim & Co I did buy in navy and black. These are the nicest ones Gary brought here. I do not at all like the slits on the legs as many are doing now, I also don't like the prints, I don't live in Florida so the prints just look out of place for me I feel. I won't buy anymore beach pants nor wide legs, I just don't need them.

I was about to purge my closet of a NUMBER of wide-leg floral pants that had been there for at LEAST 15 years.    After I watched the show, I changed my mind........they're BACK!

I'm doing a dance just thinking about how much money I saved by watching the Q!!!!

I buy 99% of my clothes locally.  Wide leg print bottoms are available for those who want them.  It's a fashion I have reason to bypass besides just appearance.

It's mostly big fat flowers and wide leg crop. Like who really is in to this?  I don't see half this stuff on other fashion layouts.  Women knocking each other out buying anything from the  Kim Gravell empire, like me.  I got the palm tree sweater.

@Steffdoggy10 I frequent Bloomingdale's, Neiman Marcus and Saks to see what is new. Not one pair of wide legged flowery pants to be seen. And the people in the mall are mostly dressed in leggings and jeans. In black. QVC is no longer a viable option for my wardrobe needs. Loud prints, too much polyester and vanity sizing making it difficult to choose the correct size? Over and done.

I really love wide leg pants for several reasons.  First I'm short so many will say that wide legs just make your legs look wider.  I'm at a point in y life that I'm mostly okay with my weight but would like to lose just a little more.  My legs look fine in wide leg pants.

I like them because not only are they much more comfortable than tight pants but are so much cooler in warm weather.

I have an issue with being knock kneed and tight pants just outline my unflattering legs.  I think most people really don't notice it but I am self conscious about it.  Wide leg pants disguise this flaw.

I'm hoping that they are not just a fad but are here to stay.....just like capris & crops have been with us for many years.

ETA:  While I like some prints, I don't care for the very loud florals we are seeing a lot of.  Most of my pants are solids.

Back in the 1970s & 80s we only wore shorts or long pants in addition to dresses or culottes.

I don't like the prints at all.

So admittedly I don't buy clothing here. So I took a look at the Kim Gravel dress this morning. It's a dated look imo but maybe good for something to throw on on vacay. I see an overly large print and uninteresting prints. A dress with one seam and a shrug I can buy anywhere. That's just my own opinion. I realize there's lots of people that this TSV will appeal to. If you are really small or in great shape you can wear something like this dress and still look good. But imo dresses like this with no shape and structure, not to mention the print, won't flatter the majority of figures.
But I do hope that everyone that likes it and buys it loves theirs.
I can see it would be a good dress to walk around in at a spring 🌼 festival or a night out at a restaurant in vacay.
Wear in good health!

@Midmod.  I agree that the TSV  is less than impressive.  The fabric look thin and cheap...I never heard so many glowing adjectives over nothing.  The large leaf motif makes everyone look larger, especially Kim with a big leaf right in the middle of her stomach.

They've pushed long dresses this year and last.  I just wonder how many American women never wear dresses?  I don't.

I try to watch Gary on sunday mornings, i just like him,but they had the tsv beach pants on,that were a tsv  lately, so they did not sell out, like others have in the past.

When you lose some one you L~O~V~E, that Memory of them, becomes a TREASURE.
