Re: Your Fashion "I Wish I Had Not Bought That!".

Diane Gilman jeans.  They fit great at first.  Then they pull at the knees, stretch and sag in the crotch.  I’ve had two pair that thin with washes & wear, then split in the seat.  I wear a size 4 or 6 so it’s not because of weight.

A black lamb leather trench coat purchased many years ago. Nice coat but after it was broken in a bit it it swam on me.  At the time the style was very hot. The SA in Filene's said it was too big on me. Should have sized down but was worried about wearing sweaters with it.  Can't imagine the price of that coat today,

And a Dooney python hobo bag. Just had to have that bag and  never use it because there is one zip pocket and a tiny pocket  and the strap though adjustable on each side cannot be moved. It's patent leather and the buttons are stuck to the strap.

Wow, I will never buy a Dooney bag again.  I bought one and only used a few times, too heavy, difficult to get into. Guess I am not the only one who does not use their Dooney.

I purchased 2 Kate Spade bags,  I looked the style but they looked very worn too soon.  Poor quality for a 200 dollar plus handbags

Re: Your Fashion "I Wish I Had Not Bought That!".

My biggest mistakes come in handbags and shoes. It is always a work in progress.

I bought a beautiful Dooney bag on sale, but that thing was way too heavy. The outside pockets were too small, and the opening too narrow to get anything out of it easily. Stupid purchase but the price sucked me in. I have sold or donated many handbags, because I can’t stand a nonfunctional bag, but I don’t want anything that screams utilitarian or tote either.

I love shoes, and even though I don’t buy many online, I find a pair (usually more), try them on in the store and love them on my feet. Then I get home and realize that are too uncomfortable or impractical. Stupid, but I am a sucker for a beautiful shoe.
