I try not to expend a lot of energy putting other women down for their fashion choices. If I look worse, I will try to do better tomorrow. If I look better, well, that is a good day!

Why are you asking? You know it's a fashion don't. There are tacky dressers and clueless dressers in this world. I haven't seen anything quite that bad. I have seen women wear tops like that but they match the color; so they have black cut out top with a black bra. Not quite as bad as that picture but not something I would do.

Not a fan...

No. It looks "interrupted" or something. I don't know how else to explain it? To my eye, it doesn't flow.

This is a no-no for me. I don't know when it started, but I see tons of girls wearing tops with bra straps showing. I do everything I can for it not to show (fabric tape).
@gidgetgh I've see stars wearing only a fancy bra and a blazer over it.

NO NO NO

I'm only a 'no' because the bra is uninteresting in color and style. I have no problem with showing undergarments that are decorative or colorful. They should add to the look if they are going to make an appearance.

Showing your bra or wearing "designer" jeans with holes and worn spots shows a new attitude of "I don't care". I consider myself a young 72 year old but I long for the days when people dressed for dinner in a nice restaurant. My feeling is that if you dress like a slob then you probably will act that way too! If these young women (and older women, too) could just look in the mirror maybe they'd see how silly they look! I recently went to dinner at a very nice country club on a Saturday night and I asked if there was a dress code and my 12 year old grandson wanted to know what is a dress code - so sad! And, no, there wasn't a dress code but most people were dressed very nicely. No short shorts, no frayed jeans with holes and no bra straps showing!

Bras were never meant to be outerwear. However, in our society today it seems that anything goes regardless of how tacky.
