……………….A259621, is a new WHISPER KNIT SWEATER to add to your collection. I call it the PEEK-A-BOO sweater or the SLICE SWEATER, because of the slice of color that peeks out from under an overlay of knit. This sweater is made in the WK jersey knit, so it is lighter than the ENR construction, but exactly like so many you already own….think of the classic TN. The sweater is approx. 28? to 28 1/2 ” long and has a four inch fine 2×2 rib border start. The long sleeves also have a three inch rib border start. Of course the WK sweater is FULLY FASHIONED. The BALLET neckline has a ribbed/tubular finish which is the finest way to finish any sweater at any price……what I’m saying is…this is the finest way you can make a sweater……What makes this sweater novel and different from all others is the treatment to the front. The entire right side of the sweater is a double layer. The contrast color, in this case the BRICK RED, goes all the way to the side seam and the armhole….ending at the top at the neckline and shoulder. When you get it home take a GOOD LOOK at the workmanship of this sweater….how the colors were attached to each other and how the edge of the overlap is finished on the inside to create a beautiful edge without bulk……is the finest way a sweater can be made! There is a loop and button approx. half way down the front of the sweater to control the overlay from opening too much, again a beautiful detail. I can assure you this sweater in any boutique or upscale department store would cost at the very least…..double….more likely triple than what the price of the sweater is being offered at. The BLACK/ BRICK RED is an easy sweater to coordinate with so much you already own…..Black jeans, gaberdine dress pants…. and WK pants. Black WK pencil or long skirts…..pleated skirts……LEGGINGS all work with this silhouette…..It’s just a matter of trying. If you already own the WK SCARF in the BRICK RED, A257914, you have the perfect matching accessory. If you don’t already own it….I would suggest now is the time to pick one up before they are gone forever……. I know you will love this new longer sweater, as well as I know you will receive many compliments…..The hard part will be choosing which color or colors to get!………………………………………………….enjoy……………………..much Love …………………..Louis

nov jewelry11

…………………….As you already know……STONE….is a KEY color for me and continues into early spring…..Combined with the CANEEL, an illusive AQUA shade which always takes me back to the Caribbean, there is an immediate feeling of CALM………………Paired with the Stone WK Skirt or Stone pant is a natural……The fact that the Stone ANIMAL INSTINCT tights are avail. to wear with this, though limited, is a bonus……Aquamarines, if you own them would be perfect….or maybe you already have the J288007, necklace in the Peacock, which also works perfectly with this sweater. …..Truly, you really need nothing to enhance this already beautiful piece…………sometimes….less is more………yes, even from me, who loves more, sometimes less is just enough…………………………enjoy…………………….much Love…………………..Louis

<h3 class="entry-title" style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 40px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 2.4em; font-weight: normal; color: #444444; text-decoration: none; padding: 0px;"> “THE OLIVE/CURRY WK PEEK-A-BOO SWEATER”</h3>

nov jewelry12

I love this combination of OLIVE and CURRY….it is very EUROPEAN. If you love my Olive WK you will love this…..If you love my Nutmeg shade, though not the same as Curry, you will still love this. For all of you who own the SPICE NECKLACE, J288007, you are fully accessorized……just add a chocolate DEMI HOOP EARRING coming in Jan. and you are complete! For me, this is the way a CASUAL OUTFIT, which is not to be confused with a Leisure outfit, though they can sometimes overlap, should look. Leisure , again for me, is an even more casual way to dress utilizing totally different fabrics…..bordering on active or lounge wear……….However, it should fit into your like style, whatever you call it. I am sure this sweater has a place in your Linea wardrobe…………………………enjoy………..much Love………………….Louis

nov jewelry13

…………………………Last but not least…….the WALNUT and MULBERRY combination. These are two colors that I have used in the past…..the Mulberry being the most recent in the swing WK tunic. I have paired it with the Walnut WK A-Line skirt, A259625 [which to my surprise is on CLEARANCE and is a fabulous WK Skirt], and the PURPLE NECKLACE, J288007, which is STILL AVAIL, but very limited….Walnut leggings and pants are always an alternative…..but just a pair of comfortable jeans is all you need for a night out at the movies…………….enjoy………..much Love………………… Louis

Thanks seka for bringing over. This is the problem. Too many gorgeous items and new colors in oldies. Love this sweater. I asked Louis for "bottoms" suggestions for the olive/curry. What do we have other than maybe the nutmeg maxi wk pencil skirt to wear with this combination? We have olive but what else? Anyway, love them all.

Louis reply to question re: bottoms to wear; Nutmeg does not work. WK olive skirts or pants work along with charcoal grey, heathered grey and jeans.

You could almost certainly wear the Linea mushroom trousers if you have them with that sweater, or the recent stone ones. It would also look smashing over a pair of brown tweed pants.

I'm not seeing the mushroom with olive/curry but we'll just have to get them home and try colors. I have enough olive bottoms but was hoping there was a color he did years ago that he was resurrecting. Actually I was hoping nutmeg would compliment. He's says no so that's that. I'm buying anyway. I think the walnut/mulberry is also an unusual, interesting combination. Haven't tried my walnut wk pencil skirt with mulberry swing sweater. Guess that's why he's the designer. Love all the combinations.

I have worn all 3 of my Linea olive sweaters with those mushroom pants & they go together very well.
