Re: Yay or Nay: The Sweater Blazer

I like the idea of a softer blazer in a knit.  They've been showing them for a couple of years now.  I wouldn't buy wool or black.  But I would do a navy or gray and wear it with a white tee and jeans.

Re: Yay or Nay: The Sweater Blazer

I am not a blazer person. My jackets tend to be more open collar like a Chanel style jacket or a bolero jacket. My casual jackets are denim  or faux leather moto style. I guess I don't really like a blazer very much whether a woven structured one or a soft sweater one.

Re: Yay or Nay: The Sweater Blazer

I am a traditional structured blazer gal (own 3), but I think the sweater blazer is ok. I would try on something similar to the original post but not in merino wool - can't wear that fabric as it makes me itch. I would also prefer black or navy instead of grey. In this material the grey is just too casual for me. I also own a knit melange jacket with a zipper that I can wear as a casual blazer.

I like them. Got a Linea ponte knit skirt suit that was a TSV a few years ago. Very comfy and just as chic as structured imo.
