First of all, I love the look of layers when done right. The weather here is cool in the mornings and very warm in the afternoons so layering is very practical right now in our area. I saw a lady wearing the cutest casual outfit. She had on a pair of madras plaid city shorts that were a steel blue, white, pale yellow and green. She paired her shorts with 2 tanks, a steel blue one underneath and a white one over that. She then wore a very thin pale yellow cardigan over that with the middle 2 buttons fastened and a cute denim jacket over that. I know that sounds like a lot of layers but they were all very thin and it didn't look bulky at all. She also had on the most adorable pair of flats with coordinating colors that had embroidery on them. I thought she looked very cute and well put together for a casual day out. I would definitely wear something like this, would you?

If I were a size 6 and could get away w/ layering, then yes! I do think layering tanks is a little much though-
