I almost always wear pants, but yes, I have worn sneakers with a dress or skirt, since the 1980's up to now. Not for fashion, but for comfort.  This is one of those situations where I wear what I want and not care what people think.

I think it is cute for younger women (late teens and 20's).  Sneakers are really big this season and I even bought a pair of black leather sneakers by Clarks  which I love.

At my age, no.  I wear sneakers only when I exercise.

If it's not comfy I'm not wearing it. It's that simple.

At one time, I wouldn't.  But I have two bone on bone knees and will wear any shoes that don't hurt my feet or make my knees feel worse.

It is better to wear practical shoes that are comfortable, than shoes you can't comfortably walk in. For many, that shoe is a sneaker. 

Women are known for wearing uncomfortable shoes, but not men.  They don'the feed into the silly fashion hype.

i do but my style is :  skirt must be a slim midi-length skirt, half tuck of a nice tee, or boxy light sweater, casual cross-body.

i wear Stan Smiths, Blowfish cap toe or other cap toe styles.

never wear standard running sneakers though...

I have worn my Keds with dresses.  

If I had my way I would be wearing them to my daughters wedding next weekend!
