Re: Would Your Man Wear $2,200 Dress From Gucci?

No real man would ever even think of wearing anything like that unless it was for a Halloween costume.

Just my opinion but no one should wear that outfit! And the $2,200 could be used for much better things-donate to the food bank or the SPCA, something more worthy of your money.

Re: Would Your Man Wear $2,200 Dress From Gucci?

Maybe I'm an outsider here but I do like the look of the dress. I don't care if men wear traditionally female things like dresses and skirts, it's not hurting anyone is it? I'm kinda attracted to that kind of stuff myself anyways.

Men can still be confident and comfortable in their sexuallity while doing typically feminine things. There is nothing wrong with it.

I gotta say though.....the jeans and shoes are def ugly haha.

You don't think, but some women do.

Where do you think "toxic masculinity" came from? These women think masculine men are the cause of all our problems.  Wars, rapes, murders, domestic violence.  So, yes, it is mostly men who do these things, but the majority of men don't.

Toxic masculinity does not imply all men are toxic. It refers to men who display a disregard for the feelings of others and do promote "Wars, rapes, murders, domestic violence."

As to clothing - women wear a lot of clothing that once was deemed masculine - pants being the most obvious article of clothing. Women were deemed as scandalous if they wore pants out in public.

As for the dress in the original post -- it's ugly. I mean very ugly. And the way it's styled, would not suit my style or my husbands. My husband is 6'5" and I have no doubt he could rock a dress like Billy Porter if that's something my spouse wanted to do. But it would have to be beautiful dress and not that horror in orange. I wouldn't let anyone I like wear THAT dress. Smiley Happy
