Melissa McCarthy always looks awful for these awards shows.  For someone who has a clothing line, she has no idea how to dress herself.  I never thought she looked good when she was wearing her own clothing to present on HSN either.

I liked the color and the star motif. If it's purple and/or has stars I'm there. But her dresses are very shapeless and have a lot of material that hangs loose. Even if you have a bigger body, you can still look good wearing clothes that are a little more form fitting.  The dresses she sold on HSN were pretty much cut like the gowns she wears to award shows, so it's probably what she prefers to wear.
