Re: Women With Control Pants - where are they?

[ Edited ]

@lizzief The pants are very popular, and it's a good idea to buy them when they are presented if you need them.  I think qvc, like other retailers, has stock issues.  If I am not buying, I put the styles I like in my wish list, because that way, if I need them, I can see if they are in stock just by looking at my wish list.  I am providing links below.  Note that they don't always re-stock with the same item number, so maybe also get a show reminder for Women with Control.

These specific styles were in my wish list and I haven't tried them, but they look nice to me and maybe you'll like them too.  They come in tall and petites too.  If you are interested in one of the styles, just search for the name of the pants without the word "regular" in it.

good luck!

The WWC pants I own are not 4 different fabrics. They are cotton and spandex. And yes I find them to fade horribly.  I have said this many times before but I have Iman and DG knit pants and they are very black and stay very black. WWC is never that black from the minute I receive them and then they fade from the first wash and continue fading.  Over the winter I came across a WWC legging and one of the color choices was very black.  I wish all of her pants came in very black.

I've not had much luck with Renee on her social media.  I requested regular waist pants because every single pair at the time was tummy control.  Personally that tummy panel doesn't control anything and I hate the seams.  If you wear a thinner knit top, you can see the waist seams through the top.  Anyhow, she responded to check on .com, that there were some listed.  I had already checked before I went to her social media and there were none.

I'm shorter so on me, even her ankle pants are full length.  In fact, I think the next time I order ankle pants I'm going to try petite and see if I can get a true ankle.  I really wish she'd do some straight leg too.  I don't want skinnies or bootcut/flare.

@Lipstickdiva You found some pants you like by Iman and DG2.  Why do you need Renee to change her pants.  I like the WWC pants, I like the light tummy control. It doesn't show thru my tops, but I don't wear tight tops.  Maybe that makes a difference.

Re: Women With Control Pants - where are they?

she featured a new pedal pusher the other day that i wanted. i waited a few hours before i ordered and sure enough, they were not all available. i did manage to get 2 of them, including a black.

for me, her pants/pedal pushers/crops, really work well for my pear shaped figure. i find them to hold up beautifully. love her prime stretch denim also.

@NYCLatinaMe , unfortunately, I don't love the material or the fit of the DG2 pants.  I loved DG's old ponte knit but this material is different.  I wear them but I wouldn't buy another pair.  The fit of the Iman pants is perfect but I wish they were a little longer.  The regular is too short for me to even wear the slightest heel but the tall were way too long.

In any event, both brands are a thicker weight, not for the summer.  I love the fit and the weight of the WWC pants.

I don't wear tight tops either.  LOL  I have to be careful with some of my knits with jeans too because the button will show, depending on the knit.

My favorite was the petite pull on slim leg (A213524) that they no longer carry.  It doesn't have the panel. The fading is horrible and I have tried everything, washing in cold, no dryer etc. I have never had anything fade the way her pants have. If they hit water out goes the dye. I realize they are not an expensive item but the fading is unbelievable. They are 86 % cotton and 14% spandex.

@tiny 2  yes!  That was one of the first pants I bought from WWC and loved them and that normal waist.  That is what I want again.

@Lipstickdiva, She needs to bring those back and address the dye problem. LOL.

Re: Women With Control Pants - where are they?

I really thought she only made with the blue-tech, which I really like because my pants stay up, unlike a lot of other pants.  I love WWC pantts.  I stopped buying DG2 because I got tired of pulling them up.  Same with IM Live 24/7, which I only bought once.  The DG2 ponte had a seam in the front which I really do not like.  I purchased them once by mistake and never again.  I stopped buying HSN except for occasional beauty or home purchase because I find that the quality of the lines is not sustained, and is therefore unpredictable.

So I hope they keep the WWC ponte just as they wonderfully are.  I air dry them.  Maybe that would help others.  Dryer products can leave a film on clothing.

@LipstickdivaYes, I mentioned the various materials as an idea that it might be the reason for fading.  OK, maybe it's not.  DG Jeans that are black ~ stink.  Much of it is a die chemical smell that never goes away.  I've read that countless times.  I understand it too, because it has happened to me with a pair of black jeans from brick and mortar.

Perhaps WC fabrication I'm speaking of is only for her jeans:
