Too often I want to see a sizing chart during a clothing presentation and there is none shown on the screen. Or it is shown for a few seconds and then gone. Too often I want to know what size the model is wearing and how tall she is and what her normal size is. Some hosts throw this information out there as a casual comment. For us as consumers it is a need-to-know comment.
Now that the new returns policy will be in effect, QVC needs to show a sizing chart on the screen that is prominently displayed for each vendor's clothing line.
Wrong size=Customer Return=$$$ for QVC
The generic QVC sizing chart is not accurate for many vendors. They need to display their own sizing chart on screen during their presentations.
An added bonus would be a few models that are not just 5'9" or 5'10" in height.
How about a 5'6" model or a 5'4" model? How about telling us exactly the size they are wearing and what the size is that they typically wear? And the hosts, too?
We don't need a guessing game at these prices.

I agree. They used to do lots more with sizing on air.

What is the new return policy? Haven't heard of it. Also, I have ordered to a "T" from their sizing chart and still the item doesn't fit correctly. I do agree it helps when the host lets you know what size the model is wearing and their height.

I agree, sizing is all over the place on all clothing lines these days. A couple of yrs. ago the customer could count on the sizing charts and the "click here" measurements. Quality Control seems to have become a thing of the past. I have had to return so many items due to measurements so far off from reality. The hosts have oversold products so much in recent years. It has cost me a fortune to return and this just makes it worse. I just finished canceling 6 orders that I will not longer take a chance on due to the new policy. I was a huge QVC shopper but I am just tired of the endless merry go round of returns.

Ah, I looked around and found what you are talking about regarding the new return policy. For others who have not heard, they will no longer refund the original shipping unless it's defective. Here's what I found on their website:
Q: Does QVC still offer a 30-day return policy?
A: Yes. QVC wants you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you're not satisfied, our return policy allows you to send back the merchandise within 30 days of the date you received the package for an exchange, or refund of the purchase price minus the original S&H and the Q Return Label fee. We will continue to refund original S&H on returns if an item is defective or we made an error; however, effective with orders placed on or after February 17, 2015, if you return the item for any other reason, we will no longer refund the original S&H.

ohhhh, that is painful. ShopHQ is like that and quite frankly, that itself stops me from ordering when I am not 100% SURE I am going to like it, it will fit, it will be what they describe, and everything else that goes with deciding to buy online.
It is not a big difference from many shipping sites (not just TV, but stores in general), most do not refund original shipping. Then to pay for return shipping, it can be quite a wallet hit.
I loved some boots on ShopHQ, but they just did not feel right on my feet. Between the original TO ME shipping and TO THEM return shipping, I ended up taking a 17.00 loss.
I now shop where there is free shipping (many are doing that now that gas is so low), so if something doesn't work out, I pay return shipping only.
We are just spoiled by the Q's long-term policies of refunding original shipping. HSN does not refund original shipping either now that I think of it.
Now if the Q cannot get their act together and give good descriptions (INCLUDING size charts), then I save because I can find almost everything they sell elsewhere.
I hate it when they say "just go look at the size charts online". NO! I might be laying on the couch, in my bed, in a recliner. My computer is not always booted up. It is THEIR job to provide the info (as they were able to do years ago before computers, right?)

They need to put up the "Click Here" actual garment measurements, abbreviated if necessary. The QVC size chart has never been useful for me.

I prefer to shop for clothing in person; however I will purchase online from time to time. While I can't always find what I want at zappos or nordstrom, I will choose them over other venues time and again because of their shipping policies.

Every time a host repeats QVC's sizing chart and told where to find it - I cringe. There has to be a valuable reason WHY QVC does not point to the GARMENT measurements! Every manufacturer uses different sizes for their clothing. At least with shoes, you can get pretty close. This is one of my major beefs with QVC. Even when they do display bust or hip sizes on the screen - that is all you get. And sometimes, those are messed up. Shame Shame!!

Hosts are too busy chitchatting about nonsense to provide valuable garment info.
