I've been shopping on QVC for years and have purchased mostly kitchen gadgets and electronics. I would like to purchase more of the clothing items, but they seem to be geared toward short and average in height women. Even what little they have in tall sizes isn't really tall. Furthermore, the tall sizes are only in slacks. I want to request that the designers start making a portion of their clothing to fit 5'8 and up women. It seems to me that when there is something in tall, it sells out, so there is obviously a demand. Also, please do tall sizes in long sleeve shirts and blouses. Way too many 3/4 length sleeves, which don't appeal to me unless it's spring or summer. I always think "where's the beef!? I don't get it quite frankly. 3/4 length seems kind of cheap looking in my opinion. Last, but no least, geez....could we get some mid rise pants and slacks?? A lot of the pants I see are high wasted and seem like they are made for super seniors...with all due respect. Denim & co. seem to be notorious for this and because of that, I won't buy. George Simonton has some great clothing as well, but too high wasted and high rise. I don't want to offend anyone, but don't forget about us tall ladies out there guys!!

The Designers will make them BUT QVC won't buy them.

That is exactly it. The buyers at QVC are the problem. I call and request more talls but oh well. I remember BMackie and RLM both saying they have more lines but QVC does not buy them. BMackie used to have beautiful silk scarves but no more, and his scarves were his actual artwork. Two of their hosts are tall, Leah and Jayne, they can't wear the regular length pants either.

Look how long it took them to stock the limited amount of petite items presently offered. In fact, it wasn't until after these boards were opened and QVC really got a cyber ear full from Petites that this limited change occurred. Further complaining on these boards about sizing led the way for QVC to expand the sizing down to XXS. Perhaps after more than two decades of not being served by QVC, tall ladies are so used to shopping elsewhere that they no longer even consider QVC as a fashion option. I'm not saying to give up. Continue to keep threads about tall sizes alive, and write regularly (perhaps every quarter), directly to the QVC fashion buyers.

I agree with you about tall clothing. However, I wouldn't order from TV. It would be too costly to try on clothing and it not fit right and have to return.

I agree, even the few 'tall' pants they have are only a 33 inch inseam, and I need a 34 inch even with flats. They have had a few pants with 34 inch inseam, but when I have ordered them, the waist comes up to my bra line. I don't know why the Q can't get it together with long length pants. So many other stores do. At most other stores, a tall is a 35 or 36 inch and a regular is 32 inch. In that case I have to hem the tall length, but at least I have the option. You can always hem but you can't add more material on.
It seems like half the time they have pants on TV, the host has to say, 'well, so-and-so-model is 5'9" so they are coming up above her ankle but when you get them home they are full length'.
No, they will be floods on me too because even though I am not THAT tall (5'8"), I have super long legs. On some of their pants, a 'regular' length is 30 inches. which would be a petite anywhere else. I give up on being able to buy any pants from the Q.

I have the same problem so I don't order pants from HSN or ShopHQ. I need at least a 34 inch inseam, the longest I've seen HSN offer is 33 1/2, ShopHQ's longest is 32 inches. I've also noticed that even when I am able to find pants with a 34 inch inseam they don't measure as 34 inches when i measure the inseam myself so back they go.
