Must be generously cut, no logos, 2 way zipper, prefer zipper and snaps, removable hood and washable.  Sleeves and wrists must be comfortable.  Prefer no fur on hood.  I only put hood on if its really cold.  No belts and no defined waist.  Mid thigh length or a bit longer.

I'm suprised about the comments on two-say zippers. I don't have any turnoffs when it comes to coats. I love everything. As long as it flatters my figure, I'm in. I'll have to say that I do prefer two way zippers when it comes to sitting in a car. I HATE when my coat bunches up on my lap, I'd rather have it sit nicely when I unzip it a bit. Who doesn't like a two way zipper anyway???!! Woman Surprised
