So happy that silly old rule about not wearing white in winter is gone.  Love the dress at any time of year (although looking at her bare shoulder and arms makes me cold!  Brrrr)

Kate looks beautiful.  The white compliments her skin and brightens her up.  Very lovely dress.

I LOVE chiffon...it is SO beautiful and feminine...it is my favorite material for evening looks.  Princess Kate looks fabulous in ivory or (winter white) and well, chiffon...need I say more...*sigh*

 

Not to be picky, but...the Prince is wearing a true white while the Princess is wearing a very soft almost candlelight ivory...so...the tone is what makes the difference obvious.
