That's a classic, women have been wearing those pants forever.  I have a pair of chinos that are like the ones shown but mine don't have a high waist like that.  They are too big now, I'm going to get the altered because I love them.  They are 4 or 5 years old.

I think they are cute on the model but not my style. My wide leg pants are full length. I don’t like the sleeves on the top either.

As soon as I get my waist back (which I'm promising myself will be any day now!), I'd wear those.  I like a paper-bag waist.   I would need them to be full-length, though.  Crops or shorter pants are just not for me.  

In the meantime, I like seeing new fashions on other folks.

Not me. I have skinny 'bird legs' and shorter wide legs make them look even skinnier.
