So tired of coats, jackets, and wraps that don't close.  Is this a cost saving exercise?

@Stevie Nix  My opinion only-  I think getting a good fit is easier for more people when garments have fewer closures, so the more we move to virtual shopping the more looser fitting styles we are going to be offered.  In a recent Wall Street Journal article about the new professional styles, even the blazers had no closures.

Almost all my jackets have closures.  Guess that could mean they are out of fashion, but fit is more important than fashion for me.

I rarely button my jackets, but the buttons need to be there - just in case!

I never button my cardi's or jackets and prefer they NOT be there!

I have no waist and closing a garment accentuates that fact. 

Leaving it open slims my sides.

Good thing there are millions of places to shop esp. for clothes, so we can all easily find what we prefer.

I only close my coat or jacket if it's cold outside. Otherwise I prefer wraps and sweater to be open.

Other clothing sites have the open front cardigans as well.  Its a fad that will eventually become less and less.

ITA, I prefer to wear jackets that can be zipped up or buttoned in the cold weather.

For me it's way too drafty to wear open cardi's or coats outside, what's the point?

I do own some cardi's like that but only wear them in the house.

I love beautiful or interesting buttons, but I rarely use them.  With coats, I prefer a self tie.

I prefer a nice clean look without buttons.  I never button any sweaters, jackets or vests.  I only button up when it is cold outside.

I much prefer that they are on my garment just in case.  I may not use them but I want them.
