QVC finally got onboard with how it is at other retailers. Actually, smart business to not get stuck with inventory.

In addition, I believe that jacket also had special "one day only" pricing.

Waitlist orders are filled with customer returns, not new stock ordered to fill them.  They just can't get items in that fast, seasonal items won't be seen again until next year.  It takes at least six months from drawing board to air time, and most take close to a year.

Agree, think about going to an actual store if it's not it stock you are out of luck,

most retailers don't keep the same item for years and years

I think they have cut back on the quantity of the items they are bringing in to sell. I think they have warehouses full of things they previously over-ordered and are, basically, stuck with, since we all know Q doesn't believe in putting things on a really good sale.

Another thing is a lot of people order these days instead of going to the mall or other places.

Leah's jacket looked more cloth like and looked like it was ironed. But when she touched the fabric, on the line of a sweatshirt or t-shirt type of material, to my way of thinking the fabrics looked different.

I order very little from QVC these days. But, when I do, I order online rather then wait for something to air on TV.  I have enough Jean jackets so I let this jacket pass on by.
