George Simonton has a lot of middle of the night shows also. I used to buy from him.

QVC simply doesn't buy enough inventory, I sometimes, have been on the "third waitlist" for an item. I wish there were another venue for Louis other than QVC.
Same here -- would love to be able to buy Linea items elsewhere.

Yes, and Bob Mackie too. Victor Costa did too and he is no longer with QVC. I have some pretty items from his line.

I know this show is to move broken inventory, but last summer's July show was at a similar hour, and the new items never got an adequate viewing and did not sell as well as they might have. I remember particularly the faux fly front jacket with matching shell and also pants. The colors were great and I particularly love the cut of the shell. Overnights are okay when the host is on during the day also, but it is insulting to actually require designers to come in at such hours. Mark Bower has also received this treatment.

Management was going to drop his line and his followers threw a huge fit and they kept him. If you noticed his ratings on his clothing is the best on qvc. I have a lot of his clothes and I am not sure about his hours. They also have Simonton on night time hours and other designers as well. I have noticed also that he has daytime hours and two hour programs on days. His clothes and jewelry are beautiful and next month the designers will start showing their fall line.

We have to fight hard enough to be privileged to spend our $$ on Linea. QVC isn't interested in growing the brand, hence the odd hours. The overnights are typically sale/clearance merchandise with a few OLO's thrown in for giggles. For me, they are just great runway shows and style tips. I usually don't find much to buy since I pull the trigger as soon as anything I want posts.

I'm retired and home quite a bit. I do gad about a lot, but I have seen exactly one live Linea show since the first of the year. DH still works and needs his sleep and I can't watch these odd hours.

I always wondered why the strange hours also. I am a full time career woman that commutes to work by train, socially active and I travel alot and I am far from retirement age however if I ever hit the lottery (LOL) I most definitely will; his designs fit my lifestyle plus I wear other designers that suit my needs.
I very rarely can watch his shows because of the odd hours; if I don't visit the Linea boards, browse online or get an email letting me know something new is coming I probably wouldn't know until everything that I possibly wanted to buy is gone.

Your shopping pattern seems to be the usual with the regular Linea customers. It's probably best because QVC doesn't order this line in nearly the quantity of each item in numbers similar to those they purchase for Susan Graver and D&C therefore as others have said as soon as the ordering system allows new items sell rapidly.
I for one am glad that Louis doesn't have to produce 30,000, 50,000 units of an item. Reason being, regardless of how good the manufacturing facility is production of those kind of numbers usually suffers quality control.
