I'm curious how the hosts prepare for a product they are new to or not familiar.  Do they get a summery about the product and the brand to study before the show(s)

@songbird  I think the hosts get information on the products before a show.  Also, they are sent (to their home ) products to try before they are the host for the show.  I've heard them talk about getting kitchen items to try at home as well as cosmetic products.  Maybe pressure washers, irons, and vacuums for all I know.   I think they are to review the items before they go on air.  That is why they are at the studio hours before they go on air.  I think a lot of us believe some of the hosts (especially newer ones) do not review and are not prepared.   Some of the experienced hosts have presented the same items and with the same vendor(s) for many years.
