Why aren't there any dresses for us petite gals?

I see so many dresses that I would buy in a minute, but frankly they are just too long! I want them to look on me like they do on the models and I am 5' 3". I am sorry but when the host or designer says this is how they look on them and it's below the knee... well I think it looks matronly on them and will surely look the same on me. What do you all think? Shouldn't we be included in the dress and skirt arena. {#emotions_dlg.thumbup} Love to buy from QVC give me some dresses that fit. Please.
