Re: Who is your favorite NON QVC clothing designer and why?

I used to love clothes by Carole Little and Dana Buchman back in the 1990s, but don't have a favorite designer now. These days, I don't look at labels; if I like something and can afford it, I get it.

They have a DVF store in Boston!  I walked by it the other day thinking I should go in to see if I could find my mom anything for her birthday.   So far I have her favorite Sisley fragrance to give her but want something more!! Smiley Happy

My very favorite for bags, shoes & apparel is Kate Spade because everything they offer is unique, exceptional quality/fabric and look stunning on.  There is not one day that passes when I'm not complimented and asked where I purchased a dress, skirt, shoes or bag and its "always" when I'm wearing Kate spade.  I also like Talbots for very casual, JCrew for pencil skirts because JCrews pencil skirts are perfectly styled i.e. not super narrow at the bottom where you can't walk and they are availabe in wool for the winter and cotton strech for the summer.  Well made for a reasonable price.
