I have some GILI items that I love.  That cape however, is the most unfashionable cape I have ever seen.  I love capes, but I like them to be longer and "flowier" than that stuffy, short, buttoned-up, mock neck they keep trying to push.

 

I like the line better since Jill has taken over.

I've wondered who some of the QVC fashion lines target.  Some are obvious.  When GILI was originally introduced, I thought it was cheap copies of more expensive brands.  Some of the styles appealed to me because I was working in the corporate world at that time, but I never purchased any GILI because the items seemed to be poor quality.  Too expensive for what they were worth.
