I like the look with jeans. I think the model is too tall for the tunic to be worn as a dress. It would work with leggings and those boots.

A short person could wear it as a dress.

The first picture looks like she was in a hurry and forgot to put on a bottom.  I think the sweater doesn't work as a dress.

With jeans, it doesn't work as a dress, imo, no matter your height. It simply is not a dress.

I like the first look. There's just too much fabric to wear it as a shirt. I've discovered I can't wear the Free People pieces that are 'oversized' because they don't proportion for petites

I like both, but I'd wear the sweater as a dress with tights.

 

The half tuck on the second look could be tricky given the thickness of the sweater, but I like the look.

I don't like the second look at all. The sweater is too long and bulky to be tucked in.

 

In the first look, to me this is a top, not a dress. It just needs to add denim leggings instead of the bare legs, and it would be a winner IMO.

I like the Ivory color sweater tucked half way in.  Looks really good.
