I thought this might be a fun game we can play, putting two similar fashion items together from different vendors and voting on who did it best.

Halston is more flattering. Would offset the pear shape, and the GILI gives the model a pear shape.

Who did it "better" might be the way to think about these. I am not a fan of uneven hems and like a looser cowl-like neckline. For those reasons, I'd vote for the design on the right.

I wouldn't ever have worn either, but the one on the right would hide better under another sweater or jacket.  Way too much going on in that Halston piece -  hem, sleeves, neckline are all out for me.

Neither scream my name but I would take the Halston between the two.  It is just more interesting to me.

Neither strikes my fancy. A chunky sleeveless winter weight sweater..why bother? It's about as sensible as a pair of chunky knit shorts.

They both look like styles from the 80's.
