I would have no problems with such an outfit. Especially if well put together, would be rather chic. I on the other hand in AK, with pets and a woodstove would look like a 101 soot colored puppies ran all over me.

Just thinking about the Nordstrom post and Paris style, how the white denims compare to the white shoes worn in those pictures with what appears, in one case, to be a suede fall/winter skirt of a mustard-gold color and black shirt.  I think I am more accepting of white denim pants in winter because of the weight of the fabric than the optic white shoes in winter with the overtly winter fabrics.  JMHO
