Re: Whisper Knit Dress Up for Ordering!

I'm just not sure about this dress as I am just under 5'4"" and it needs to be at knee or above to be to my liking.

I'm 5 ft 2 and well I'm going to go ahead and order the olive. It may be too long for me, but I won't know if I like it until I try it, so I'm going to go for it.

I would have to be motivated to put some time in at gym to feel comfortable wearing this dress!

Has anyone hemmed a WK skirt? If so, how does it look? I may have to go the hem route on this dress.

Sheesh, Louis has said before that WK can be hemmed. Don't know what technique he recommends!

Re: Whisper Knit Dress Up for Ordering!

I've had WK pants hemmed by a very good seamstress. I have three new pairs to take to her. I don't do any of my own alterations so I can't comment on how difficult/easy it is. I thought the dress might be too long for me (I'm 5'2'' on a good day) but would have to measure my other dresses to see. I wear most dressed midcalf and am all body.

I'm not buying it now because my financial advisor (me) went into shock yesterday when my credit card company (Discover) gave me a breakdown of what I was spending my money on. Stupid of them! I have too many clothes I haven't worn yet.
