I didn't watch it when it was actually on. I thought it was really stupid the first season or two when I caught an episode! But I have to admit watching the reruns that it improved or I should say the writing improved after a few seasons.
It was originally a very poor dupe for an English program called Coupling

Hey you just gave me an idea. Not a lot on tv I like now, and since they are still airing these shows I could try to get into it. It was really well liked when it was on @Andreatoo . Good idea!

It was very popular which is why I tried to get into it when it was on but just couldn't handle it.
Now I'm catching up on Blue Bloods which I had the same problem with. I found the first season really hokey but the later ones seem to have improved a lot

And I really like Bebe Neuwirth's red coat! LOL

@Andreatoo None really, but if I had to pick.........Phoebe because she is a bit Boho. No crisp white shirts, polo shirts, preppy stuff.

DH and I had to stop watching the show when the monkey and Ross episodes started. Totally creepy. Ross was quite creepy prior to the monkey business anyway........

Oh for love of Thursday nights in the mid '90s! First, TV: Friends, Seinfeld and then the old Stompin Grounds for Drinks 'n Flirts. Friday Mornings feel-like-yet-no-quite hangover and YAY the Boss is working at her other office and leaving at noon!!

Personality-wise More Phoebe than Rachel; Bod and Hair, Rachel!! even got the Rachel cut. Short skirts and Half shirts
