They can laugh all they want when they see dwindling sales!
Like someone has said, DO NOT BUY from host you don't like! If you do and have to return the item, write a note of complaint specifically mentioning the host's misrepresentation if applicable or failure to adequately present the item. Mention the host by name and write down if needed if you are ordering many things so you will remember just who it was on when you ordered based on their presentation.
IDK, but would think that QVC must keep stats on the numbers various hosts are selling. That is why it is good NOT to order an item when one you don't like is on unless it is in danger of selling out. Just wait until later on to place your order and you may even decide against it all together if you think about it a bit.
I am seriously thinking of not purchasing anything else from QVC as long as they are pushing Facebook and obviously have such a close association with them and their "sleazy business practices" as described in the news just last week and now again this a.m. on CNN!
Notice how recent all this Facebook talk is....anyway, I don't recall just when it started but it has creeped insidiously onto more and more of the airtime and presentations and now they have that big board with Carolyn Gracie oohing and aahing about something shown on a Facebook page which is being broadcast now on QVC!

Where is the ""chat live"" feature? Is this a chat room (like HSN on androids) or do you mean ""chat live"" to customer service?

It may be you wish to see Q's sales go down, but I wouldn't hold my breath, if I were you. You'd turn blue first.
As for all those "notes and letters" of outrage? I bet they end up in the shredder, to be used as confetti at the office holiday party.![]()

I was also curious about this. Is the OP referring to the ""Chat Now"" link on the customer service page?

TX-starlight, ITA w/your post.
I haven't watched the so-called Mon. Fri. morning fashion fiasco show in yrs. Can't stand the so-call inside jokes between Pat & Jayne. Can't stand Pat's constant giggling when trying to talk---you can't understand one word she's saying. When I used to watch; I had a "light bulb" moment when I really thought she was giggling about the viewers who were buying the same old overpriced merchandise.
As far as your suggestion to complain on a live chat---not for me. QVC is not important enough in my life to take time to do that. I just don't watch & of course don't buy.
Does QVC miss my NOT SPENDING $$'s of course not---however QVC will miss the money NOT being spent for those who view things like us.
More & more the "QVC cheerleaders" say if you don't like the host, programming, etc. don't watch----just shop QVC.com.
Here's a heads up for them; QVC is the LAST place I would ever think about looking for items on line.
I do a bit of QVC shopping but those items were presented live on shows that held my interest.

We're Here to Help

This is located at the bottom of home pg, maybe all pgs....Click the "Customer Service" then right in center of pg. is "Chat Live".
Tks to all who agree with me & didn't attack my post. People post here everyday about wanting to complain, so what was the big deal of me posting to send complaints to "chat live"?? Lol, I guess I am much too sensitive.

She asked others to also complain via the online chat to QVC. I think that was fine as well. If you don't support her plea a simple, "I don't feel the same" would suffice. QVC is after all a shopping channel, not entertainment, as someone already noted. It's reasonable for the audience to ask for more product information Or ask for more personal stories if they like. I sometimes find myself wishing they would "get on with it." I want to see the models wearing the items, hear about colors and sizing, etc. I don't mind some personal stories and fun but at times it IS too much. Often they claim they don't have time to show some products they planned to present. Either they never intended to show them or they talked too much. I'm sure there is a happy balance for all of us.That is what I got from the OP's post as well. And I agree providing more product information or showing it on the model sooner than they do before it sells out would be welcomed.
^ This. It's okay for the hosts to have fun, laugh and chat. It would just be nice if they remembered to give all the details of the items.
NC Bandwagon, That is exactly right. I am ALL for some fun, just give me info/details 1st. THEN laugh/giggle all you want. Tks!!!
