Like someone has said, DO NOT BUY from host you don't like! If you do and have to return the item, write a note of complaint specifically mentioning the host's misrepresentation if applicable or failure to adequately present the item. Mention the host by name and write down if needed if you are ordering many things so you will remember just who it was on when you ordered based on their presentation.

IDK, but would think that QVC must keep stats on the numbers various hosts are selling. That is why it is good NOT to order an item when one you don't like is on unless it is in danger of selling out. Just wait until later on to place your order and you may even decide against it all together if you think about it a bit.

I am seriously thinking of not purchasing anything else from QVC as long as they are pushing Facebook and obviously have such a close association with them and their "sleazy business practices" as described in the news just last week and now again this a.m. on CNN!

Notice how recent all this Facebook talk is....anyway, I don't recall just when it started but it has creeped insidiously onto more and more of the airtime and presentations and now they have that big board with Carolyn Gracie oohing and aahing about something shown on a Facebook page which is being broadcast now on QVC!

Oh good Lord! Sounds like it's time for the tin foil hat! Everybody is talking/doing Facebook!! There is no conspiracy going on, nothing so "sleazy" or underhanded. It's called Social Media! And it's being done on nearly every single online site.

Almost every online retailer, blogger, news media sites like HGTV, the Food Channel, eBay, Sephora, News Channels, etc., has the Facebook "Like Us" Icons on every single page you click on!

I swear, some of you scare the begeesus out of me with you weird off the wall comments?

How utterly inane! You would go to all this trouble, when you can click on the "click here" to get the exact measurements? Do you even have a clue how long it would take a host to read off every one of those measurements for every single size? Why do you think they make the sizes available for every single item??

Unfreakingbelievable!

If you call 484-701-1000 and ask for Corporate, they will put you through. It is just an answering machine that you get, but after I made a pest of myself I got a call back quickly. The lady who answers the first number can give you a direct 800 number to corporate but you get the same answering machine. There is no email but the snail mail is QVC Inc, 1200 Wilson Place, Westchester, PA 19380. If it is about a cancellation or refund letter, it should go to Cost Intensive Team.

Just because "everybody is talking/doing Facebook" doesn't make it right. If someone told you to follow them jumping off a bridge, would you do it?

Facebook and the other social media sites are being misused by businesses and you can disguise or justify it as "networking" all you want. Go ahead and participate,,, I could care less if you ignore all the warning and get hacked...it will serve you right.

Why should I give any business access to my Friend's list on Facebook so they can be swamped with ads or other nefarious slimy business practices.

If it is a site for businesses then that should be made crystal clear and not sugar coated as social networking. Good grief, some people must be living under rocks or have their heads in the sand.

I must have missed it....when did Congress pass a law requiring people to "like" a company on Facebook? {#emotions_dlg.blink}

Is this a joke? Like that joke about the guy who goes to the doctor and says "Doctor, it hurts when I do this!" so the doctor says "So stop doing that!"

If you hate it so much, don't watch it. I hate 2 Broke Girls. I don't write to CBS to complain about it, I just don't watch it.

Seriously, if you don't like it don't watch. It is an easy fix.

The chatter is the style of the show & many enjoy it. It is really not all just for you.

Maybe the OP just likes to see the new styles in clothing that are presented each morning. I don't watch these women but what is wrong with OP presenting her opinion; it just happens to differ from yours.

I don't have a problem with Pat and Jayne, I would rather watch them then the news. QVC pairs Pat and Jayne together to create an atmosphere of friendship and fun. QVC wants you to feel that you are one of their friends and then you will be inclined to purchase items from QVC.

Re: Where to send complaints....read on.....

If I were going to complain in earnest (as opposed to just griping a lot on these boards...) it wouldn't likely be about hosts, and it wouldn't be via chat. It'd be about the programming and the lousy on-air product mix and it would be by letter to "corporate". It's not that some hosts don't fully turn me off, but I figure there are those out there who like the very hosts I can't abide and those who can't tolerate some of the ones I enjoy. Sure, the same could be said about some of the programming, but everybody would benefit from more variety!

Re: Where to send complaints....read on.....

Why don't you send them a comment on their Facebook pages rather than CS. CS won't do anything. I sent Susan Graver a message on her Facebook re: her on tv and I got a response back from her directly. It pays to go directly to the source rather than the roundabout way. If you don't really care for them, you may want to watch something else on tv.
