I've been shopping like a fiend at Talbots. They've had their spring things out since January with the summer clothes right behind that.

I am buying very little these days as my closet is full and I am retired now. But when I buy, it is usually from Macys, JCPenney, Land's End, Kohls, or QVC is a very limited way (mostly just Linea).

I really needed to update and refresh my spring/summer wardrobe.  I sort of went nuts.  Macy's and Dillard's mostly since they are my favorites.  I actually found some cute cargo Capris at Kohl's.  I rarely shop there and never buy clothes but I got there on the right day.

I have purchased a couple of three quarter length light weight jean jackets, new tee shirts, some really cute patterned ankle pants, blouses and shoes.  For shoes, I go to Zappos, Naturalizer, etc.  I have good luck with shoes when I purchase online but clothes not so much.  I just prefer to try on clothing.

I have bought a few pair of ankle pants at Talbot that I have been very happy with...fit and fabric quality better than I was able to find other places. Also bought a few linen tops from JJill when they had a sale.

From the Q I did buy a couple of IM's tanks that are really a nice quality of cotton. They had less than stellar ratings, but they work fine for me and I ordered another white tank as a backup. I like that it has a lower cut crew neckline that is work appropriate, w/o choking me.  

I am probably set for summer unless I can find another pair of white jeans that fit me well and don't have too much spandex. I bought a pair of ON white sweetheart jeans a year or two ago that I love...but of course, they changed their fit/style and none of the ON fit me in the way I think looks good on my body.

When I'm working, I get things at Dillards, Belks White House Black Market, and casual at Q except for a little Gili and some Halston.

I've been have great luck shopping at my local Maurice's! Huge discounts and really, really nice spring/summer clothes! I have two Maurice's nearby and have spent hours there! My next stop this week is Peebles!

FYI, the black version of these is beautiful. (But I rarely wear black.)

I bought a couple of short sleeve tunic tops that look like One World or Style & co. Tops from the Cleo store in Canada. I also shop their website when they have sales.

i've also bought Nygard tops and their Nygard Slims capri knitback skinny jeans from Hudson's Bay in Canada and bought summer weight Jordache jeans from Walmart. I found a cute plaid top and a pair of Italian shoemaker sandals from Winners in Canada too.

Online I also bought a black polyester chiffon cold shoulder Nygard top from TSC in Canada.

I have bought a few new tops to wear with existing bottoms.  I needed to replace my short sleeve white tees that were worn and shorts that were too tight.  My purchases came from Macy's, Talbots, Ann Taylor, JCP, Kohl's, Marshall's, and KMart. I am finished with shopping unless...

I haven't purchased a new dress or skirt in almost a year.  I am ready to buy if I find one I love.
